Job Summary/Company: Sparks is Group is seeking a Quality Inspecter for a morning shift in Chantilly, Va. This position pays $17.50/ hr and the shift is 5am-5pm on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.  Please apply today!


Responsibilities:

  • Executes rigorous quality control protocols to ensure production consistently exceeds industry standards.
  • Facilitates cross-functional quality reviews to synthesize customer feedback and drive operational excellence.
  • Establishes and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to align departmental output with corporate strategy.
  • Champions continuous improvement initiatives by identifying efficiency gaps and spearheading process enhancements.
  • Architects comprehensive reporting systems, managing everything from inspection logs to high-level corporate presentations.
  • Mitigates organizational risk through proactive identification and strategic planning.
  • Orchestrates internal and external audits, successfully securing critical accreditations such as ISO9001, PCI, and CQM.
  • Spearheads root-cause analysis for customer complaints and non-conformances, implementing sustainable corrective actions.
  • Cultivates high-performing teams through targeted training and mentorship focused on quality excellence.
  • Additional tasks and duties as assigned

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Capable of lifting and moving materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to maintain peak performance during 12-hour shifts Monday Tuesday and Wednesday night from 5am- 5pm, involving constant standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

  • Strong manual dexterity for the intricate handling of small components and tools.

  • Sharp visual acuity for product inspection, label reading, and monitoring digital displays.

  • Strict adherence to all site-specific safety protocols, including the consistent use of PPE (steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and gloves).

  • Maintains a high standard of workstation organization using 5S principles to eliminate hazards and optimize workflow.

  • Empowered with a "Stop Work Authority" to halt operations if unsafe conditions are identified.

  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and credit check.
