Quality Inspector

Job title: Quality Inspector
Location: Avon Lake

Nesco Resource is hiring a Quality Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you'll inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming materials, work-in-process, and finished products
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and thread gauges
• Read blueprints and engineering drawings
• Identify and document nonconforming parts
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation
• Verify material identification and traceability
• Create Certificates of Conformance (CoCs) for customer shipments
• Report quality concerns and assist with corrective actions
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality department

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of manufacturing or quality inspection experience (aerospace experience preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good math, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• ASQ Certification or Internal Auditor Certification is a plus

Shift 1 ^st shift (530 am to 4 pm Monday through Thursday)
Salary $18-$21
