Job Description: Quality Inspector
Title: Quality Inspector
Reports to: Quality Engineer
FLSA: Non-exempt
Location: Mesa, Arizona
Summary
The Quality Inspector I inspects cables to ensure they are built to customer's specs and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducts visual and measurement tests of products
- Performs inspection of incoming, in-process and outgoing products
- Performs final inspection of completed cables
- Reviews product specifications to ensure finished cables are compliant to standard
- Reports quality problems or findings to Quality Manager
- Submit Corrective Actions to correct product/process failures
- Performs other tasks as required by Supervisor
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED or work experience
- I year cable assembly experience
- Basic computer skills
- Able to use gauges, calipers, rulers
- Basic math skills, including ability to do calculations and convert fractions
- Ability to use microscope
- Ability to read, write/ speak English
- Demonstrates keen attention to quality and details
