They operate and program CMM equipment (e.g., PC-DMIS), use precision measurement tools, and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and tight tolerances.
Responsibilities include documenting results, identifying nonconformances, supporting root-cause analysis, verifying certifications, and maintaining a safe, organized area.
Essential skills involve CMM programming, precision measurement, blueprint reading, and knowledge of quality standards like ISO 9001 and AS9100.
Experience in fast-paced manufacturing, collaboration with engineers and machinists, and a background in high-mix environments are preferred.
