Our client in Bellows Falls, VT is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their growing team! This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with a growing company!
Your qualifications for the Quality Inspector position are as follows:
High School Diploma/GED, Associates Degree preferred
3+ years inspection experience
ASQ Certified Quality Inspector is a plus
Demonstrated proficiency with measurement tools
Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
Understanding of GD&T, shop math, metrology, and blueprint interpretation
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys and other quality practices
Ability to stand and lift up to 40 pounds throughout the shift

As the Quality Inspector your duties will include:
Inspect incoming materials
Inspect in process and final products
Read and interpret technical drawings
Select appropriate measuring tools and understand correct operation
Record data in computer system
Ensure company processes are followed and recommend improvements as appropriate
Collaborate with other departments to meet organizational continuous improvement objectives
