This client was founded in 1998 to set a new standard in the turbomachinery aftermarket industry. They support operators with reliable, high-quality service built on strong relationships, solid engineering, and technical expertise.

They are seeking a Quality Inspector to support the Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will inspect machined turbomachinery components and assemblies to ensure they meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements.

This position is well-suited for individuals with experience in technical inspection, equipment maintenance, QA/QC, or precision measurement-including experience gained in military occupational specialties (MOS/AFSC/NEC).

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of machined components and assemblies

Identify, document, and track nonconforming parts or materials

Create and maintain inspection and quality documentation

Maintain and verify calibration of inspection and measurement tools

Perform reverse-engineering inspections and assist in generating technical drawings

Review supplier inspection reports and material certifications

Conduct on-site inspections at supplier facilities as needed

Support continuous improvement and quality system initiatives

Preferred Technical Experience:

Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO 9001

Hands-on use and care of precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)

Experience using inspection equipment such as CMMs, optical comparators, or Faro arms

Knowledge of machining processes and manufacturing practices

Familiarity with nondestructive testing (NDT) methods

Military training and operational experience may substitute for direct commercial experience.

Required Experience

5+ years of experience in quality inspection, maintenance inspection, or technical evaluation

(Military experience performing inspections, QA/QC, maintenance verification, or equipment evaluation will be considered equivalent.)

Additional Requirements

Position is based at Bethlehem, PA facility

Approximately 5% travel may be required

Full-time role with a minimum of 40 hours per week

Overtime, evenings, or weekends may be required based on operational needs
