Quality Inspector / CMM

Our client in the manufacturing sector is on the lookout for a seasoned expert in dimensional verification. The successful applicant will ensure the highest standards of product accuracy by conducting detailed inspections of machined parts and maintaining comprehensive records of their findings. Expertise in programming and operating CMMs is essential, alongside a keen eye for detail.

**Core Duties**:
- Develop and run measurement programs using coordinate measurement technology to validate component precision.
- Cross-examine component geometries and dimensions to align with engineering blueprints and technical specs.
- Maintain precise and thorough documentation of inspections, ensuring compliance with design control processes.
- Generate initial inspection reports following AS9102 standards.
- Record inspection findings accurately, relaying discrepancies to relevant departments for prompt resolution.
- Collaborate seamlessly with production, technical, and quality assurance teams to address and rectify inspection challenges.

**Requirements**:
- A history of 3–5 years in CMM operations, encompassing both programming and inspection proficiencies.
- Solid foundation in using PC-DMIS and CATIA tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
- Aptitude for interpreting and analyzing engineering blueprints and dimensional criteria.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain meticulous organizational practices and mechanism for capturing fine details.
- Clear and effective communication skills for relaying inspection outcomes and maintaining impeccable documentation.
