Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer

Full-Time | First Shift | Monday-Friday

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer to join an established precision manufacturing operation.

This is a hands-on quality position for someone with strong metrology experience who knows how to program, operate, and troubleshoot CMM inspection processes. You will work closely with manufacturing and engineering to ensure machined components meet print, dimensional, and quality requirements.

The right candidate will bring hands-on PC-DMIS programming experience and a strong understanding of precision measurement, blueprint reading, and GD&T.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, write, edit, and maintain CMM programs using PC-DMIS

• Operate and maintain a CMM

• Determine CMM programming and inspection requirements from engineering drawings and specifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, routers, quality plans, and GD&T

• Perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured components

• Inspect components using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, thread gauges, and other precision measuring equipment

• Verify CMM equipment is operating properly and remains within calibration requirements

• Complete and maintain inspection reports and quality records

• Identify and communicate quality issues to manufacturing and engineering

• Respond to manufacturing inspection needs and quality concerns in a timely manner

• Maintain accurate records within quality and ERP systems

What We’re Looking For

• 3PC-DMIS CMM programming experience

• Quality inspection or metrology experience

• Experience programming and operating CMM equipment

• Strong blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation skills

• Working knowledge of GD&T

• Strong understanding of dimensional inspection and metrology

• Experience with common precision measuring instruments

• Ability to understand manufacturing processes and communicate effectively with machinists, engineering, and quality personnel

• Strong math, organization, and documentation skills

• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and handle parts weighing up to 30 pounds

• Ability to work in both seated and standing positions throughout the day

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Full-Time On-Site

Compensation

Competitive hourly compensation based on CMM programming, PC-DMIS, and quality inspection experience.
