Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Day Shift Quality Inspector role in Cincinnati, OH. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.

 

Key Responsibilities:
· Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with company and customer quality standards.
· Utilize measuring tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection instruments to verify product specifications.
· Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to ensure product conformity.
· Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality records in accordance with company procedures.
· Identify, report, and assist in resolving quality issues, non-conformances, and production defects.
· Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support corrective and preventative actions.
· Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
· Assist with audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and implementation of quality control procedures.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety protocols.
· Promptly communicate quality concerns and recommendations to supervisors and leadership.

 

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
· Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
· Strong knowledge of quality standards, inspection methods, and measurement tools.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
· Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50+ lbs as needed.
· Experience with quality systems such as ISO standards is a plus.
