Quality Inspector

Adecco is currently assisting a leading manufacturing client in Devens, MA. We are seeking Quality Inspectors, for a direct hire opportunity on 1st shift. This is an excellent opportunity to join a quality-focused manufacturing environment supporting products used within the biopharmaceutical industry. .

Job Title:  Quality Inspector

Location: Devens, MA

Pay Range: $26.72 - $38.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 3:30PM

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections in accordance with approved inspection criteria and procedures.

• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.

• Verify the accuracy and completeness of documentation related to incoming materials, production inspections, and final product release.

• Use measuring and test equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools.

• Review blueprints, drawings, specifications, packaging, and labeling requirements to ensure compliance.

• Maintain inspection and quarantine areas in an organized and compliant condition.

• Work closely with production employees, supervisors, managers, and Quality team members to ensure established quality standards are maintained.

• Maintain documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

• Support compliance with the site's Quality Management System (QMS).

• Assist with investigations involving nonconforming materials, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Collect and maintain quality data used to monitor product quality and the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.

• Participate in internal audits, training activities, Environmental Health & Safety initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.

• Provide backup support to other members of the Quality team as needed.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and product specifications.

• Experience using measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.

• Basic math and computer skills.

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Ability to accurately document inspection findings and maintain quality records.

• Familiarity with ISO standards or biopharmaceutical manufacturing environments is a plus.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Interest in continuous improvement and willingness to learn.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

• Ability to work within a clean room environment as needed.

• Ability to work overtime when required.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $38.00 per hour
