    Job description:

    Are you passionate about quality, workplace safety, and continuous improvement? We're looking for a Quality Inspector / EHS Technician to join our manufacturing team in Dallas. This role combines quality inspection with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) responsibilities to help ensure our products meet the highest standards while maintaining a safe workplace.

    1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:45 PM

    What You'll Do

    Quality Responsibilities

    • Inspect finished products, work-in-process, and incoming materials to engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Perform inspections on components, assemblies, wiring, and electrical products.
    • Determine acceptance or rejection of products and materials.
    • Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
    • Support quality records, databases, and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Work with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues.

    EHS Responsibilities

    • Conduct routine safety inspections and audits, including:
    • Fire extinguishers
    • Eyewash stations
    • PPE compliance
    • Cranes and hoists
    • Electrical safety
    • Assist with accident and near-miss investigations.
    • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
    • Assist with employee safety training.
    • Monitor contractor and non-routine work for compliance.
    • Help execute weekly EHS audit schedules.
    • Support emergency response activities when needed.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Basic understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
    • Experience reading engineering drawings and blueprints
    • Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers and scales
    • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Basic math skills
    • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    Preferred

    • Associate degree in Quality, Mechanical, Industrial Technology, or a related field
    • ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT)
    • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
    • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
    • Experience conducting quality inspections and incident investigations
    • Knowledge of:
    • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
    • Confined Space
    • Hot Work
    • Electrical Safety
    • Work at Heights
    • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions
