Entry-Level Quality InspectorCompany: Road & Rail ServicesPay: $20.00 per hourJob Type: Full-TimeSchedule: Wednesday–Sunday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.Work Environment: On-site and primarily outdoorsExperience: No previous vehicle-inspection experience required-training providedStart a Career in Vehicle Quality InspectionRoad & Rail Services is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Quality Inspector to inspect vehicles, document transportation-related damage, and enter inspection information into customer reporting systems.This entry-level opportunity is a strong fit for someone who notices small details, works accurately with computers, and is comfortable performing inspections outdoors. You will receive training on our inspection procedures, damage-reporting requirements, and data-entry systems.This is not a mechanical repair position. Your primary focus will be inspecting vehicles, verifying reported damage, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure each vehicle is properly documented before the process is completed.What You'll NeedTo be considered for this position, you must have:A valid driver's licenseBasic experience using Microsoft Office programsThe ability to enter information accurately and follow established proceduresDependable attendance and availability for the Wednesday–Sunday scheduleA safety-first approach to working around vehicles and rail equipmentThe ability to work independently while also contributing to a teamWillingness and ability to perform duties outdoors in changing weather conditionsThe ability to safely access and work on or around railcarsPrevious inspection, automotive, transportation, logistics, or data-entry experience may be helpful, but it is not required.Your Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesAs a Quality Inspector, you will help confirm that vehicle damage is identified, verified, and reported correctly. Your responsibilities will include:Examining vehicles for damage that may have occurred during transportationRecording inspection findings clearly and accuratelyVerifying previously reported vehicle damage on and off railcarsEntering damage documentation into original equipment manufacturer reporting websitesReporting applicable damage information through the BNSF systemHelping control or monitor access to designated areas until vehicle repairs are completedCommunicating damage findings or documentation concerns to the appropriate team membersFollowing all company, customer, and industry safety requirementsCompleting additional operational duties assigned by managementAttention to detail is essential because your inspection records and data entries help support accurate damage reporting and vehicle-processing decisions.Work EnvironmentThis position is performed primarily outdoors at an active rail and vehicle-processing facility.
