Quality Inspector
Location: Euless, TX 76040 | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $27.33/hr
• Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• W2 employment
ROLE IMPACT
The Quality Inspector ensures product integrity, customer compliance, and manufacturing excellence at the site level. This role directly supports execution of the Quality Management System (QMS) by performing inspections, managing nonconformance quarantine activities, and driving continuous improvement. Success is measured by accurate inspections, strong documentation practices, and proactive resolution of quality issues that protect customer satisfaction and production flow.
• Execute quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), and continuous improvement (CI) processes at the assigned manufacturing site
• Perform in-process inspections, first article inspections (FAI), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and customer-defined inspections
• Support process engineering with process capability studies, internal audits, and compliance reviews
• Manage nonconforming material identification, quarantine, and documentation within the QMS
• Maintain accurate inspection records and drive responsive corrective actions to meet customer requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience working in a Quality Inspector or similar quality-focused role
• Strong experience using precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints to ensure product specifications are met
• High attention to detail with hands-on experience in inspection processes and quality control activities within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with prior ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) data entry experience
Equipment & Work Environment
• Manufacturing facility environment
• Use of inspection tools and measurement instruments
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and use of hands for handling and measuring components
• Regular communication with production teams and quality leadership
Travel
• Travel may be required up to 5% of the time.
Preferred Skills
• American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification
• Root cause analysis and corrective action methodology experience
• Ability to train operators on inspection procedures and quality standards
