We are seeking an experienced Final PCBA Quality Inspector to perform final and incoming inspections of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), electronic assemblies, and components to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Perform final inspection of PCBAs, electronic assemblies, and finished products.
Inspect solder joints, component placement, and workmanship using microscopes and other inspection equipment.
Verify workmanship to IPC-A-610 standards and product specifications.
Inspect for cosmetic, dimensional, and functional defects.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
Use microscopes, calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and gauges to verify product conformance.
Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming material.
Process inspection and inventory transactions in ERP systems.
Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
3+ years of PCBA, electronics manufacturing, or electronic assembly inspection experience.
Experience performing microscope inspection of PCBAs and electronic assemblies.
Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Experience using calipers, micrometers, multimeters, gauges, and microscopes.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Basic Microsoft Office skills.
Preferred
IPC-A-610 Certification.
IPC J-STD-001 Certification.
Experience in electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, or contract manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of acceptance sampling and quality inspection methods.
