JSG is seeking a Quality Inspector four our client in Hauppauge NY.  The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards for electronic components and assemblies.

Pay $23/hour

Required Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in an electronics environment (2+ years preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, including reading and interpreting engineering drawings and datasheets
  • Proficiency with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, microscopes, and magnifiers
  • Familiarity with standards like IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, ISO-9001
  • Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems
  • Attention to detail and manual dexterity for handling small components
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Technical certifications in quality or electronics
  • Additional knowledge of manufacturing documentation or quality systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in electronics or quality preferred
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and handle small components with manual dexterity
  • Visual acuity for detailed inspections under magnification
  • Commitment to following safety procedures and workmanship standards (IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001)
