Quality Inspector 
We are now hiring! We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector with QA experience to join our team. This position reports to the QA Lead and is responsible for working closely with the packaging department to perform product quality inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with all quality and food safety requirements in the Hollister, CA area.

Shift: 8am-4:30pm
Days: Mon-Fri
Pay: $17.50

Job Duties:
  • Assist with customer-required sensory evaluations and pH testing
  • Weigh and measure products and verify dimensional requirements using calipers, scales, and calculators
  • Compare products against required specifications, including in-process inspections within the packaging department
  • Accurately complete inspection forms and quality documentation, including Metal detection records & Finished product inspections
  • File and organize documents that are collected from the other departments.
  • Collect retain samples and lab samples.
  • Perform ATP and allergen swabbing on equipment and utensils to verify cleanliness.
  • Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for all employees throughout the facility. 
  • Effectively and professionally communicate with line operators and management regarding quality and food safety issues.
Qualifications:
  • Previous QA or food manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of GMPs and food safety practices is a plus
