ATI supports a wide range of rotary and fixed wing components found on both commercial and military platforms around the world. ATI is seeking a Quality Inspector FAA part 145 experience for an immediate full time direct hire opportunity in Hollywood FL. ROLE The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing preliminary hidden-damage in-process and final inspections on civil aviation articles for continued airworthiness and on military and industrial parts per the current technical data provided in the manufacturers instruction. The Inspector must be able to read and understand Service Bulletins service letters Airworthiness Directives or any other data approved by the FAA government and industry-standard practices and other data acceptable. The inspector will perform return-to-service inspections. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following Inspects parts assemblies and finished products by contract specifications andor legal requirements follow companys inspection guidelines to conduct critical non-routine visual dimensional mechanical electrical test and functional inspections on a wide variety of components assemblies equipment systems supplies and materials. Performs complex and critical inspection procedures requiring special set-up of new or unique equipment and interpretation of test data from a variety of sources Must know technical data and quality procedures as applicable to FAA Part 145 repair station. Manage and review work orders while jobs are in progress monitoring for proper sign-offs. Samples and tests incoming components and raw materials tracks results. Ensures raw materials in-process and finished products meet company standards. Applies approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated Produces inspection reports as appropriate requested Minimizes downtime by reducing production rework and recalls. Must be able to work independently as well as support other team members. Must be able to work overtime and weekends. Perform other duties as assigned
