Quality Inspector

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify dimensional accuracy of components using a wide range of precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges, height gauges, thread gauges, surface roughness testers, etc.)
• Verify supplier documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable requirements.
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final product evaluations.
• Review inspection records received for compliance
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents
• Support Engineering with dimensional analysis and product disposition.
• Interpret and apply engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T requirements for complex components
• Document Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) upon identification of nonconforming products and promptly notify relevant stakeholders.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
• Maintain metrology equipment and ensure compliance with calibration requirements.
• Adhere to company HSE policies and report unsafe conditions or incidents promptly
