POSITION / DEPARTMENT: Quality Assurance Inspector Level I (Final & In-Process) LOCATION: Chatsworth, CA
SHIFT: Day shift: 6:15 AM – 4:45 PM or 7:00AM –5:30PM,
Monday - Thursday
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and final inspections of parts and assemblies to verify conformance with engineering drawings, specifications, workmanship standards, and quality requirements.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
- Review manufacturing travelers, inspection records, and related documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify, document, and report nonconforming material in accordance with company procedures.
- Follow company quality procedures, safety policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- 0–1 year of manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience with electronic and mechanical assemblies preferred.
- Knowledge of proper Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling practices preferred.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and AS9100D Quality Management System requirements is a plus.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
