    Job Description

    1. Inspect all parts for compliance to the quality control sampling plan for both internal and external customers.
    2. Sustain 5-S in all quality areas and assist with 5-S projects in other departments when necessary.
    3. Use measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to ensure specifications are adhered to print. Parts are to print.
    4. Work as part of a team daily with other departments to assist with Quality Questions.
    5. Comprehends written and verbal instructions and translates them into actionable tasks in support of the production process.
    6. Uses time effectively and promotes strong team atmosphere by assisting others when needed.
    7. Promotes quality by maintaining discipline and compliance of procedures related to job specifications. Keep work area clean an orderly. Prioritizes inspection based on production needs and supply chain.
    8. Performs assignments in accordance with established safety policies and procedures.
    9. Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within a reasonable time, depending on the degree of difficulty of their job functions.
    10. Build test bows for periodic testing and run test equipment including, but not limited to the turbo flexor, limb burnout ovens, and bow draw equipment.
    11. Perform Finished Goods audits on a periodic basis to ensure the end customer receives the finest quality products available.
    12. Perform First Article inspections when products arrive and report findings to the Quality Supervisor for final approvals.
    13. Knowledgeable of the production processes within the plant. Ensures the written and verbal production processes are followed. Refers to work orders or procedural instructions appropriate for each job, function or assignment before commencing work
    14. Performs all other tasks as assigned by the department supervisor.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
    High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Minimum of two-years quality control experience preferred.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk, talk, and hear. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

    May be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic, or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
     
    The noise level in the work environment ranges from low to high depending on the assigned area. Areas with high noise level require earplugs. The employee will be informed of the requirement to wear earplugs upon assignment to a designated high noise area.
