Analog Modules, Inc. is recruiting for a Quality Inspector II.
The Quality Inspector II's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following.
- Performs visual inspections of Printed Circuit Boards, PCB Assemblies, Sheet Metal, Wire, Optics, Electronic Components etc. to verify that products adhere to specified standards of workmanship.
- Documents the results of inspections regarding the condition of the product as defined by established procedures.
- Reviews test data to verify that products meet specified requirements.
- Interprets drawings and schematic diagrams to perform inspections.
- Identifies deviations and initiates reports.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to five years’ related experience and/or training.
- Experience with GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
- Must pass certification for IPC-A-610 after hire (if not currently certified).
- Must be familiar with workmanship standards IPC, MIL Specs, ISO 9001, etc.
- Must have experience in quality and source inspection of electronic components.
- Must be able to perform work with a microscope for several hours per day.
- Experience interpreting engineering specifications (drawings, bills of material, deviations)
- Experience with dimensional inspection tools (calipers, micrometer)
- Experience with electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies
- Computer literate with MS Excel experience
