Quality Inspector - Injection Molding
Pay Range: $23 - $25/hour + Robust Benefits
Location: Longmont, CO
Position Type: Direct Hire
Hours: Mon - Th: 3:30 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. (Fridays Off!)

How you'll spend your time as a Quality Inspector - Injection Molding:
- Inspect small injection-molded parts from automated and manual machines.
- Take hourly production samples and verify conformance.
- Interpret 2D part prints and follow Job Quality Plans.
- Measure parts using calipers, gauge pins, height stands, and microscopes.
- Conduct First Article Inspections using SmartScope and other equipment.
- Review startup parts and escalate quality concerns when needed.
- Review work in progress parts from other shifts and weekends.
- Quality stamp approved boxes for release to Finished Goods.
- Label and organize master, defective, and last run samples.
- Participate in quality audits and maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Contribute ideas that improve efficiency, quality, and customer service.
Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Quality Inspector - Injection Molding:
- Prior quality inspection or measurement experience preferred.
- Experience with calipers, gauge pins, height stands, and microscopes.
- Ability to read and interpret 2D part prints.
- SmartScope experience is a plus.
- Injection molding experience is helpful but not required.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work without direct supervision.
- Good vision and fine motor skills for inspecting very small parts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Clear, direct communicator who handles issues constructively.
