Our manufacturing client in the Irwin, PA area is seeking a Quality Inspector.
-Review drawings/specs and plan inspections based on quality requirements
-Set up and calibrate inspection tools; prepare a clean, well-lit workspace
-Perform initial visual and mechanical inspections (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
-Inspect processed parts using dimensional, functional, and non-destructive methods
-Record detailed measurements, results, and any non-conformities
-Analyze data to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
-Report findings and communicate issues to supervisors/customers
-Support compliance, production schedules, and continuous improvement efforts
-High school diploma or GED
-Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience
-Solid logic, reasoning, and troubleshooting abilities
-Organized, able to multitask, and work well in a team environment
-Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
-Able to read and interpret engineering drawings/specifications; GD&T knowledge a plus
-1-3 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment, including use of inspection tools; must obtain required customer certifications
