Job Title: Quality Inspector Pay Range: $20.00 - $31.60/hr, (depending on experience) Location: Kent, WA Area Code: 206 ZIP Code: 98032 Start Date: Right Away Shift: 2:30pm - 1am (Mon-Thurs) Keywords: #KentJobs #QualityInspectorJobs Benefits: * Medical / Health Benefits with multiple plan options, Flexible Spending Accounts, Dental and Vision * 401k * On the job training / cross-training * Life Insurance, disability insurance * Voluntary life insurance for family members available. * Accident and critical illness insurance optional. * Scheduled performance reviews * Referral program Job Description: Responsibilities: [strong style="box-sizing: inherit; font-weight: bold; line-height: inherit;"]Functions and Responsibilities * Complete training modules 1-6 or demonstrate understanding of and the ability to complete the following: Paperwork Review and Documentation, Non-Conformances, Dimensional Inspection, Visual Inspection, Visual Weld Inspection, and Drawing Interpretation. * Visually inspect or check parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments. * Check dimensions and finishes against sketches, blueprints, manufacturing planning and specifications. * Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures. * Any other duties as assigned to help drive our vision, fulfill our commitments, and carry out our organization's virtues. [strong style="box-sizing: inherit; font-weight: bold; line-height: inherit;"]Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED equivalent. * Requires high school level mathematics skills and basic problem-solving ability. * Requires familiarity with machine tools and precision instruments. * Basic understanding of manufacturing planning and sketches. * Has limitations but knows what they are and knows when to stop; seeks help in determining appropriate interpretations. [strong style="box-sizing: inherit; font-weight: bold; line-height: inherit;"]Physical Requirements * Use of protective equipment such as safety glasses as required to prevent injuries. [strong style="box-sizing: inherit; font-weight: bold; line-height: inherit;"]Working Conditions * Demonstrate proper and safe operation of equipment, and personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, safety glasses/full face shield, hearing protection, heat reflective body garments and gloves as required.
