Quality Inspector L1, L2, L3

Westaff is looking for a Quality Inspector in West Boylston, MA for an Immediate Start!

Location: West Boylston, MA

Shift: Mon–Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm

Pay: $20–$30/hr DOE

We’re looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on complex electro-mechanical assemblies. You’ll verify products against engineering specifications and determine acceptance or rejection based on established standards.

Job Duties

·        Inspect electro-mechanical assemblies using visual and mechanical methods

• Perform PCB, cable & harness, and electro-mechanical inspections
• Complete inspection reports and document deviations
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI)
• Use calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, feeler gauges, scales, multimeters
• Identify and document non-conforming material
• Apply GD&T principles
• Work independently while maintaining accuracy and urgency

Qualifications

·        3-5+ years inspection experience in the electronics industry

• PCB and cable/harness inspection knowledge
• IPC-A-620 certification required (instructor level a plus)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
• Able to read blueprints, BOMs, and engineering docs
• Skilled with standard inspection tools
• Strong communication skills
• Works well with minimal supervision
• Solid understanding of quality processes and reporting
