Come build your career with Volt - where your skills matter your growth is our mission and opportunity is just the beginning.Volt is immediately hiring Inspection Technician at Londonderry NHAs an Inspection Technician you will be responsible for Perform precision mechanical inspections from dimensioned drawings using calipers micrometers surface plate height gages gage blocks gage pins optical comparator toolmakers microscope coordinate measuring machine and other standard inspection equipment. Perform visual inspections of electronic assemblies using microscopes & magnifiers. Perform first article inspections and generate detailed reports when required. Communicate discrepant findings verbally and via written discrepancy reports to Supplier Quality EngineersTechnicians SQESQT. Independently perform source inspection at local suppliers. Participate in MRB meetings to support SQESQTs. Accurately maintain records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures Identify equipment needs for jobs requiring new or custom metrology tools. Identify Dock to Stock DTS candidates per established procedures. Present nominations to SQE. Work closely with buyers planners design engineers manufacturing engineers quality engineers and program leadership. Support SQESQT with routine supplier audits when required.This is a 12 Month full-time Contract or Contract to hire opportunity.What Were Looking For Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-SecondaryAssociates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
