About the Opportunity: We?re looking for an experienced Quality Inspector for 1st shift. You will have the opportunity to work with an experienced and highly motivated team. Location: Malden Ma Responsibilities: Inspection & Quality Assurance: Conduct detailed inspections of engine parts using precision measurement tools. Review specifications and blueprints to ensure compliance with aerospace standards. Identify and disposition non-conforming parts. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspection results, measurement data, and non-conformance reports. Prepare and submit First Article Inspection (FAI) packages and special process documentation. Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with other inspectors to share best practices and improve inspection methods. Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process enhancement and optimizing inspection techniques. Training Support: Assist in training new team members on inspection protocols, quality standards, and the use of measurement equipment. Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality regulations, and company policies throughout all inspection activities. Problem-Solving: Utilize root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques to address quality issues, implementing effective preventive measures. Required Qualifications: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis. Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations. Must have GD&T Experience High School diploma or equivalent required. 3+ years of experience in quality inspection, preferably within the aerospace sector. Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with manual layout inspection techniques, CMM inspections, and machining processes such as turning and milling. Experience in aerospace is advantageous. Proficiency in English language, both verbal and written. Mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret blueprints and sketches accurately Working Conditions: Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment. Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk. Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds. Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to travel between locations or to suppliers up to 25% of time.
