We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our medical device manufacturing team on first shift. This role involves a high volume of microscope-based inspection and requires hands-on experience using a reticle for dimensional measurement. The ideal candidate has strong visual acuity, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of product quality and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of medical device components and assemblies using microscopes and reticles
  • Measure and verify product dimensions against engineering drawings and specifications
  • Accurately document inspection results in quality systems and inspection records
  • Identify, document, and escalate nonconforming material per established procedures
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO standards, and internal quality procedures
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and inspection processes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
Required Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in a quality inspection or manufacturing inspection role
  • Proven experience working under a microscope for extended periods
  • Experience using a reticle to perform precise measurements
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify subtle defects
  • Basic computer skills and experience with electronic documentation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in medical device manufacturing or other regulated industries
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA regulations, or GMP environments
  • Previous experience with micrometers, calipers, or other precision measuring tools
Physical & Work Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Frequent use of microscopes requiring sustained visual focus
  • Manual dexterity and steady hand coordination
  • Ability to meet vision requirements for close inspection work (with or without corrective lenses)


Benefits:Health care insurance benefits available first of the month following 60 days of employment. Thirty (30) hours worked per week must be averaged in order to maintain coverage. 401k enrollment is available per the Secure Act guidelines. Earned Sick and Safe time is accrued and can be used per the State of MN guidelines.
