What You'll Do
Perform and document first article, in-process, and final inspections to verify products meet specifications.
Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, depth gages, indicators, and Go/No-Go gages; CMM knowledge is a plus.
Identify, tag, and isolate non-conforming products and assist with non-conformance documentation.
Review inspection and test data, identify deviations, and support process validation activities including gage R&R and capability studies.
Partner with Production and Quality to resolve issues, improve inspection flow, and support consistent product quality.
Support work instructions, MRB activities, QA final release, and Engineering Change Orders as appropriate to experience level.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification is preferred.
Quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment. 2+ years of experience prefer.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints is strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of precision measuring tools and a solid understanding of basic shop math.
Experience in medical devices, precision machining, regulated manufacturing, ISO 13485, or FDA quality requirements is highly valued.
Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, follow-through, and the ability to communicate effectively with both Quality and Production teams.
