What You'll Do
Perform routine inspections, testing, gauging, and instrument inspections of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
Review products and materials during and after manufacturing to verify compliance with company specifications and customer requirements.
Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, hardness testers, and other inspection tools to verify product dimensions and quality.
Inspect customer returns and assist with investigations and documentation.
Document internal nonconforming materials and support corrective action processes.
Maintain accurate inspection, testing, and quality records.
Follow established work instructions, quality procedures, and company policies.
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Requirements:
What We're Looking For
1–2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Working knowledge of precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, hardness testers, and similar inspection instruments.
Ability to accurately read and interpret measurements and inspection results.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Good organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to follow written work instructions and quality procedures.
Basic computer skills for maintaining inspection records.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
