As a Quality Inspector you will perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of wire & cable assemblies. You will inspect materials, parts and products at different stages of production.


Responsibilities:


+ Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials

+ Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing by completing reports and logs; input data into quality database.

+ Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.

+ Coordinate calibration of all test equipment and fixtures

+ Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration.

+ Participate in the construction and/or revision of SOPs for the inspection function.

+ Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.

+ Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to supervise.


Qualifications:


+ High School Degree or equivalent experience required

+ 2 years required, 3 years preferred of quality inspector experience

+ Ability to analyze information

+ Ability to report research results

+ Strong documentation and organizational skills

+ Strong attention to detail

+ Strong math skills

+ Ability to use measurement equipment

+ Basic computer skills
