About the Role:
Join HORSPOOL & ROMINE MFG CO INC as a Quality Inspector in Oakland, CA, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a team dedicated to excellence and innovation in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records for quality assurance purposes.
- Identify defects and non-conformities, and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.
- Participate in internal audits and assist in maintaining ISO certification standards.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control processes and best practices.
- Assist in the development and improvement of quality control procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in quality control preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and tools.
- Proficient in using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
