We're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you'll help ensure products meet quality standards by inspecting materials and finished goods, performing dimensional measurements, documenting results, and partnering with production to resolve quality issues. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing quality experience who enjoys working in a hands-on environment.
Responsibilities
Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and product specifications.
Document inspection results and report defects or non-conforming materials.
Conduct first article inspections and provide feedback to Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials for corrective action.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality concerns and improve processes.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects and improving product quality.
Maintain accurate inspection records, audit documentation, and quality reports.
Assist with calibration and routine maintenance of inspection equipment.
Follow all company safety policies and quality procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.
Strong understanding of quality inspection methods and quality control processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Experience using precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify and document defects.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills for documenting inspection results and reports.
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive inspection tasks throughout the workday.
