For more information visit our website at www.kearfott.comQuality Inspector OverviewThe Quality Inspector plays an important role by ensuring that the circuit cards, electronic components, and electro-mechanical components are manufactured correctly and functioning properly.
Essential Functions- Inspect circuit cards, electronic, and electro-mechanical components, per drawings, procedures and work instructions.
- Prepare and upload results of test and inspection.
- Utilize ERP system.
- Maintain organized work area.
- Perform other various types of inspection as required.
Required Skills- Capable of performing inspection operations utilizing a microscope for the majority of the workday.
- Experience in cleanroom, ESD, and FOD controlled areas.
- Must have basic understanding of how to read/interpret blueprints.
- Summarize, file, and maintain records and parts traceability.
Required Experience- High school or equivalent, plus approved specialized and/or trades training desirable.
- Minimum 3 years' experience inspecting electronic parts, assemblies, and circuit boards.
- Must be detail orientated and have strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to understand written work instructions and drawings.
- Familiarity with MS Word, Excel.
- Capable of performing inspection operations utilizing a microscope for the majority of the workday.
- Excellent vision, ability to lift up to 35 pounds and sit/stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be a US Citizen.
Preferred- Electronics assembly experience.
- 5+ years' experience inspecting electronic parts, assemblies, and circuit boards.
- IPC 610/620/J-STD Certification a plus.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey is
$23.00 - $40.00 hourly. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, and internal consistency.
