Quality Control Inspector
- Responsible for verifying quality and checking the harness the pieces coming from the temper furnace every 45 minutes.
- Assist Dept. Supervisor in checking the dimensions of the parts.
- Audit and make temperature adjustment of the furnaces.
- Record keeping of all parts verified.
- Create yellow tags of reject material when necessary and report to the Quality manager.
- Must wear required PPEs such as steel toe shoes, gloves, earplugs and safety glasses.
- Responsible for basic housekeeping.
- Must perform other duties as required.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
- Able to read and understand schematics is preferred.
- Knowledge of the use of the Brinell and Rockwell Hardener tester preferred.
- Must have knowledge of the use of the micrometer, caliper, tape measure.
- Knowledge of use microscope hardness reading.
- Must know how to read and interpret the prints.
- Knowledge of how to adjust the temperature of the furnace preferred.
- Must have basic computer knowledge.
- Requires High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
