We are partnering with a rapidly growing precision manufacturer serving the aerospace, defense, medical device, and other high-precision industries to hire Quality Inspectors.
This role is responsible for inspecting complex precision-machined components throughout the manufacturing process to ensure they meet engineering specifications and customer quality standards. You'll work closely with machining, engineering, and quality teams in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment.
Shifts: Hiring 1st and 2nd shift
Compensation: $28–40/hr (depending on experience)
What You'll Be Working With:
- Wenzel CMM Systems
- Keyence Laser Inspection Technology
- Precision hand inspection equipment
- Hermle, Heller, Zayer, and DN Solutions machining centers
- Siemens Sinumerik & Heidenhain controls
What You'll Do:
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on precision-machined components.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications.
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, height gages, bore gages, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Operate CMMs and other advanced inspection equipment to verify dimensional compliance.
- Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
- Identify nonconforming product and communicate issues to manufacturing and engineering teams.
- Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and calibration-compliant inspection area.
