The Quality Inspector role ensures product and material quality by inspecting in-process production, finished goods, and incoming supplies, recording results, and maintaining compliance with quality standards.
Working on-site, inspectors perform visual and measurement tests, approve conforming products, document findings, and support calibration and safety procedures.
Qualifications vary by level: Level 1 requires a high school diploma and basic quality knowledge; Level 2 adds at least 1 year of experience, ability to interpret drawings, and operate measurement tools; Level 3 requires 2-5 years of experience and advanced skills in GD&T, calibration, and statistical analysis.
