Quality Control Inspector

Position: QC Inspector
Pay Rate: $21/hr
Hours: 6am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday
Location: San Marcos, CA
Job Responsibilities:
- Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Approves in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests.
- Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
- Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions, calling for repairs.
- Compiles and creates documentation in accordance with customer purchase order requirements including but not limited to AS9102 FAIRs, PPAPs, final inspection reports, test data reports, certificates of conformance, etc.
- Assists in maintaining internal calibration program including analysis of tools with expiring calibration, auditing, performing calibration procedures, and calling upon outside vendors for calibration.
- Performing shelf life extension procedures for the evaluation and disposition of expiring materials as necessary.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
