Duration: LongtermJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to perform inspection and testing of electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical materials, components, and sub-assemblies. The ideal candidate will ensure products meet established quality standards through visual, dimensional, and functional inspections while maintaining accurate documentation. This role has a strong emphasis on documentation review and requires working on the 2nd shift.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products.
Conduct testing in accordance with documented quality procedures and work instructions.
Record inspection and test results accurately and maintain quality documentation.
Operate inspection, test, and measurement equipment safely and effectively.
Review manufacturing and quality documentation for completeness and compliance.
Identify and document non-conforming materials using the Non-Conforming Material Review (NCMR) system.
Support First Article Inspections (FAI) by collecting and documenting required data.
Participate in Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility (GR&R) studies as directed.
Assist with special inspection and testing requests.
Recommend improvements to quality procedures and prepare change requests when necessary.
Analyze, gather, and trend quality data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Train and mentor other inspectors as needed.
Support Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned.
Experience performing visual, dimensional, and functional inspections.
Ability to read and follow quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection documentation.
Strong documentation review and record-keeping skills.
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and data entry).
Familiarity with inspection and measurement equipment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to identify and document non-conforming materials.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
1 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with electronic, electro-mechanical, or mechanical components.
Knowledge of First Article Inspection (FAI) processes.
Experience participating in GR&R studies.
Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and manufacturing quality standards.
Previous experience with documentation review and quality records management.
Willingness to work 2nd shift.
