Inspector 1
The Inspector 1 is responsible for ensuring that all inspections of the products are performed and accepted to customer requirements and company standards.
Essential Functions:
- Follow quality processes and procedures to perform detailed inspection in receiving, in-process and final inspection to ensure products conform to customer requirements, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
- Complete required documentation
- Perform AS9102 first article inspection and other extensive inspections per specifications? Document all inspections in accordance with company's procedures and processes
- Develop and review inspection plans
- Ensure quality standards are met for all components and assemblies for final acceptance
- Maintain parts history folders, inspection reports and prints/drawings
- Calibrate and document hand tools and other inspection equipment
- Perform visual inspection
- Perform hardness and electrical conductivity testing
- Carries out day-to-day work following the departments continuous improvement plan
Skills & Abilities:
- Effectively work with mechanical and electronic inspection tools and devices
- Working knowledge of Geometric and Dimensional Tolerances (GD&T)
- Working knowledge of mylars, optical comparator, thickness gage and profilometer
- Knowledge of aerospace specifications, quality codes and standards
- Knowledge of Six Sigma preferred
- Able to read blueprints and schematics
- Must be accurate and detailed with minimum errors
- Able to work within specific time schedules/deadlines
- Basic computer skills
- Perform job with minimum of supervision
- Work within a team environment
- Respond with sensitivity to people of diverse perspectives
- Dependability, excellent attendance, ability to work overtime and other shifts

Schedule & Payrate: $23.00 - $28.00
- 1st Shift Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
