Job Description

Your role in the company

You play a critical role in protecting the performance and reliability of mission‑critical technologies used across electronic warfare, radar, and advanced communications systems. As part of Teledyne Microwave Solutions-a global leader in high‑power microwave and radio frequency technologies-you help ensure our products meet the highest quality standards demanded by the U.S. and allied defense platforms worldwide. Your expertise directly supports operational readiness, customer trust, and long-term product excellence.

What you'll do

• Inspect incoming materials, in‑process builds, and finished products for compliance with specifications
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and visual inspections using precision measurement tools
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection plans
• Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials or processes
• Prepare inspection, rejection, and first article reports
• Communicate inspection results and recommend corrective actions
• Support quality audits and supplier inspections
• Enter inspection and test data into quality systems
• Apply acceptance or rejection identification as required
• Help reduce rework, downtime, and quality escapes

What you need

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications - required
• Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges - required
• Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical inspection methods - required
• High attention to detail and strong documentation skills - required
• Vocational certificate or Associate degree in a technical field - required
• 10+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment - required
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or high‑reliability manufacturing - preferred
• Proficiency with computerized quality or data entry systems - preferred

Salary Range:

$50,600.00-$67,500.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
