Quality Inspector

Responsibilities

-Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections to verify products meet quality standards and engineering specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements to inspect components using precision measuring equipment.
- Document inspection results, identify non-conformances, and support root cause analysis and corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain calibration records and schedules for quality inspection equipment and measuring instruments.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and other departments to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.
- Utilize quality data and statistical methods to monitor product performance and ensure compliance with established quality standards.



Requirements

- Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications; GD&T experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators
