Quality Inspector

Pay: $20/hr DOE
Shift: 1st Shift, 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Some OT on Sat (7A - 1P)
Location: South Tucson
Requirements: 2+ Years of Quality Inspection experience, GMP, Must be US Persons.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Inspect materials to quality standards required by customers and quality system.
  • Monitor quarantined and non-conforming materials.
  • Understand the requirements of the Quality System such as: Good Documentation Practices, Quality Systems Procedures, Work Instructions, Quality Records, Audits, Training, Non-Conforming Reports, Product Handling, and Document/Data Control.
  • Compile and maintain daily Quality Assurance metrics.
  • Review and evaluate quality data, records to ensure accuracy, completeness, appropriate release and control of products.
  • Must follow Quality Policy and established procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Able to pass a secure background check
  • Prefer at least 2 years of Quality Inspector experience
  • Ability to conduct detailed acceptance, verification, and data analysis.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications (i.e.; Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Experience with Incoming, First Article and Final Inspections with mechanical electro-mechanical and/or electrical devices.
  • Demonstrated experience meeting disciplined Quality Systems such as Mil Spec, IPC, AS9100, ISO 9001 specifications
  • Experienced with standard metrology measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gage blocks, optical comparators.
  • Independently interpret and follow engineering specifications in drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing .
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret drawings and schematics, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Able to communicate results of inspections to peers and supervisors verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
