Job Title: Quality Inspector

Reports to: Quality Supervisor

Primary Purpose: To assist the quality control department in meeting and exceeding pre-determined requisites and guidelines through established functional programs.

Essential Functions:

·Print labels for specified shifts

·Perform 1st piece approval process

·Provide boundary samples for all production runs

·Verify correct documentation identified per product / work cell

·Perform label verification process - 1 tote per pallet

·Perform in-process part inspection per DIS (verify frequency per specific

·product

·Perform LPA audits as scheduled

·Meet as IATF 16949 requirements for your area; step-by step, packaging,

·quality alerts, and visual aids

·Document detailed summary of shift concerns for the next shift

·Assist with training of new / in-training operators

·Pass color verification (Hue Test). Re-certify at Managements discretion

·Perform tasks with specific measuring devices (i.e. calipers, gages, Macbeth Light etc.)

Qualifications:

·Good organizational skills.

·Ability to work well within a team environment

·1+ year of manufacturing experience, preferably in the plastics and automotive industry.

·Basic knowledge of quality control

·Excellent attendance record
