The Quality Inspector works independently as part of the Quality team inspecting device components and finished devices. It is the responsibility of the Quality Inspector to communicate inspection results to management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintaining Quality and Regulatory systems and system elements in conformity with domestic medical device agency regulations and requirements.
- Inspect device components and finished devices following inspection instructions and established procedures.
- Communicating inspection results to Quality Management, Quality Engineer, or General Manager.
- Filing Quality documents and records and maintaining Quality files.
- Investigating customer complaints and working within Quality and Management personnel to resolve complaints.
- Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Ability to use hand-held inspection instruments (micrometer, calipers, etc.) required.
- Experience with computerized record-keeping (e.g. documents, drawing) preferred.
- Computer literacy with standard software applications and demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional Suite is required.
- Communication skills to include reading, writing, and speaking in English.
- Ability to function effectively in a team setting.
