Responsibilities:
* Perform inspections and testing on incoming materials and finished goods using precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and thread gauges.
* Review technical drawings to confirm compliance with specifications prior to customer delivery.
* Act as the link between Quality and Warehouse teams to maintain smooth material flow from receipt through shipment.
* Organize and conduct Customer Source Inspections when required.
* Assist in investigating nonconforming materials and support corrective actions and process improvements.
* Accurately record inspection data in the ERP system across Inventory, Order Entry, Purchasing, and Production modules.
* Participate in continuous improvement projects, helping to develop enhanced inspection tools and methods.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree preferred.
* 1-2 years of experience in quality control, testing, or manufacturing (mechanical, electrical, chemical, or assembly environments).
* Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
* Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards; AS9100 experience is a plus.
* Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
