About the Opportunity

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Quality Inspector workers for a precision machining and manufacturing company in Elk River, MN. In this role, you’ll help ensure high-quality parts for aerospace, defense, medical, and technology customers. If you enjoy detailed inspection work and want steady weekend shifts with weekly pay, this could be a great match.
What You’ll Do as a Quality Inspector:
  • Inspect incoming parts and materials to verify purchase order requirements
  • Perform first article inspections to validate manufacturing processes
  • Conduct in?process and final inspections on machined parts
  • Use measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, CMMs, and optical devices
  • Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment
  • Record inspection results in the internal MES system
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T specifications
  • Follow OSHA, ISO 9001, and AS9100 quality and safety standards
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement activities
What You Need to Bring to the Quality Inspector Role:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem?solving abilities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
