Superior Trim Springfield is looking for an engaged and energetic person who is currently enrolled in a bachelor's program focused on quality, supply chain, business, or related major, and is currently in their junior or senior year.
Working with the Quality team, the intern will gain experience in real world writing of work instructions for a new product launch. This internship will cover the practices and procedures of writing work instructions from concept to implementation.
Responsibilities:
Draft, edit, and format detailed work instructions (WI) for manufacturing and support processes, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
Observe production processes on the floor to accurately document step-by-step procedures, control points, and inspection requirements.
Collaborate with Quality Engineers, Production Supervisors, and Operators to validate content and ensure instructions reflect actual process conditions.
