Quality Lab Technician

Our client is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to join their Quality Services team in Leonia, NJ. This position is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, eager to learn laboratory procedures, and interested in building a career in quality control within a manufacturing environment.

The Quality Lab Technician will support daily laboratory operations by performing routine testing, preparing laboratory materials, maintaining equipment and supplies, documenting results, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The role also includes assisting senior laboratory personnel, maintaining accurate records, and supporting a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Key Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field preferred)
• 0–1 year of laboratory experience
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel)
• Good communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Willingness to work overtime when needed

Work Environment:
This role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, and working around powders, chemicals, and common food allergens, including peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, fish, and shellfish.
