Quality Lab Technician

Your Day-to-Day Impact

You’ll play a vital role in our Quality team by:

• Quality and quantity of work and product produced.
• Completion of assigned tasks.
• Proper care and usage of equipment.
• Prepare test specimens and perform tests to ensure conformance to Vallourec Star, API, ASTM or other standards.
  Testing shall include mechanical testing including yield and tensile, Charpy impact, hardness, and other tests as
  required.
• Communication of test results and maintenance of test data.
• All other tasks assigned by supervisor

• Observe safety rules and wear required safety equipment while on the job, such as a hard hat, steel toe boots,
  safety glasses, face shields, and hearing protection.
• Adherence to department policies, procedures, practices, and specifications.
• Working normal shift schedule and hours, as required. Also, any extended work schedule or days and/or hours as
  required.
